Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ from Seal Ministry Dharan, Nepal. I am delighted to write to you about the ministry we have been engaged in this month. Lock-down and curfew restrictions have been eased for certain activities; however, gathering in large numbers and classes are still restricted. Maintaining social distancing guidelines, I was able to visit some believers in their homes and minister the Word of God to them. We continue to visit believers who need special prayer, healing, and counseling.

Recently, while on my way to minister, I was pondering an issue that concerned me about the poor families in my community that I have seen and heard of their woes. Many are in great need for help during this pandemic. Some families only have meager earnings to support their families, while others have nothing at all to feed their families, along with deplorable living conditions. Preaching the gospel amid their suffering is difficult. Because of this, I decided to help them with the small amount that I have. On June 18th, my friend and I distributed food items to a few of the poorer families in the community and then preached the Gospel. In this way we were able to at least ease some of their suffering. They were very grateful and glad. They thanked us and God as we showed them love. Though it was only a small gift, it was a pleasant moment indeed to witness their gratitude. There are also many poor people within Dharan. My prayer is that we may be able to help them in the near future. Our prayer requests are for healing from this corona-virus, to help those families in need with food items, and for the huge harvest as we preach to their souls.
